Break in call leads to gun bust and arrests in Boston
BOSTON, MA — Two suspects were arrested after a late-night foot chase in Roxbury where police recovered two loaded firearms during a reported break-in attempt, authorities said.
Officers responded around 9:25 p.m. on March 19 to Maple Street after reports of individuals trying to break into a home through a window.
Police arriving at the scene found a group gathered in an alley behind the residence. As officers moved in, two suspects attempted to run but were quickly caught following a brief pursuit.
Investigators recovered two firearms in the alley — a SIG Sauer P365 XL loaded with 11 rounds and a Canik TP9SF loaded with one round.
Police arrested Zyon Allen-Gonzalez, 18, of Braintree, along with a 15-year-old juvenile from Dorchester. Several others at the scene were identified and released.
