Police are searching for three suspects accused of beating a 44-year-old woman with sticks before stealing her purse outside a Bronx residential complex.

Bronx, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a daytime robbery in the Bronx that left a woman assaulted and without her purse.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 7, in front of 10 Richman Plaza within the confines of the 46th Precinct.

Investigators said the three unidentified individuals became involved in a verbal dispute with a 44-year-old woman before the confrontation escalated into violence.

Victim assaulted during robbery

Police said the suspects repeatedly struck the victim about the body with sticks during the altercation.

Authorities allege the group then stole the woman’s purse before fleeing the scene. The NYPD did not release information regarding the suspects’ direction of travel or whether the victim required medical treatment.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to identify and locate the three individuals involved.
