Brunswick, NY – New York State Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect following an incident Friday morning at the Walmart on Hoosick Road in Brunswick.
According to State Police, the robbery occurred at approximately 9:35 a.m. at the Walmart located at 760 Hoosick Road. Investigators said one of the suspects involved remains at large and is believed to be armed with a bladed weapon.
Police release suspect description
Authorities described the outstanding suspect as a Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue sweatpants, and white sneakers.
Police have not released additional details about the robbery or whether anyone was injured during the incident. The investigation remains active.
Public urged not to approach suspect
State Police are warning residents not to confront anyone matching the suspect’s description.
“Anyone who sees an individual matching this description is asked to call 911 immediately. Do not approach or confront them,” New York State Police said in the public safety alert.
