TIFFIN, OH — A Tiffin resident has claimed a $20,000 prize after playing the Ohio Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off, a $50 game offering high-tier rewards.
The winning ticket was purchased at Ohio Carry Out, located at 300 South Sandusky Avenue in Upper Sandusky. After federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, the winner will receive $14,400.
VIP Millions is one of the Ohio Lottery’s premier scratch-off games, featuring a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of May 23, 35 top prizes remain in circulation.
The win adds to the steady stream of recent big-money prizes across the state, highlighting the popularity of Ohio’s high-value instant games.
Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to public education in the state.
