Times Square Shooting Suspects Wanted After Teen Shot Near Broadway

Police are searching for two gunmen accused of opening fire near Broadway and West 43rd Street, leaving a 17-year-old boy wounded.

A 17-year-old male was shot in the foot during an early-morning gunfire incident near Broadway and West 43rd Street in Midtown Manhattan, according to the NYPD. The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct.

Investigators said two unidentified individuals produced firearms and fired several rounds in the area. During the gunfire, the teenage victim was struck in the left foot.

Two suspects sought in Midtown shooting

Authorities said both suspects fled following the shooting. Police have not released descriptions of the individuals as detectives continue working to identify those involved.

The victim’s injury was reported as non-life-threatening. No additional injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
