Toms river major league star todd fraizer host of free zoom meet and greet february 9th

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Major League Baseball player Todd Frazier, a hometown hero who put Toms River baseball on the map with his 1998 Little League World Series will be hosting a Zoom meet and greet at 6:30 pm on February 9th. The event is being hosted by USA Baseball’s Homegrown Program.

Frazier played the past two seasons with the New York Mets but is now still in free agency heading into the 2021 season. Frazier was a Major League Baseball all-star in 2014 and 2015.

“USA Baseball’s Homegrown Program provides youth with the unique opportunity to learn and grow from current and former USA Baseball players and Major League Baseball players alike, through a fun, interactive setting. Todd Frazier is a product of Toms River, N.J., and looks forward to sharing their experiences with you,” USA Baseball said. “Get to know Todd, his favorite hobbies and get a glimpse of their own personal and professional journey that has led them to where they are today!”

This is a FREE event and the attendance limit for this virtual event is: 1,000 attendees. First come first serve.

A two-time USA Baseball national team alum, Todd played for Team USA’s Collegiate National Team in 2006, earning a gold medal in international play and he also played for Team USA’s professional team in 2010. Frazier was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds with the 34th overall pick in the 2007 Major League Baseball draft, eventually earning himself two All-Star Game appearances, a Home Run Derby championship, a Heart and Hustle Award, among other accolades. Todd’s hometown means a lot to him and looks forward to sharing his experiences and words of wisdom to youth living within his community,” USA Baseball wrote in the event registration.

This program is intended for Toms River area students and youth athletes.
