Toms River Town Hall to Close for Two Days

Mayor Daniel T. Rodrick announced today that Toms River Town Hall will be closed for at least the next two days, and possibly longer, due to significant flooding caused by a burst pipe. The flooding has impacted all three floors of the building, requiring immediate remediation.

A professional cleanup contractor has been engaged and will be working to address the damage and ensure the building is safe for staff and the public before reopening.

While Town Hall will be closed, all inspections will continue as scheduled for the following departments:

Residents should note that the Township Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled due to the closure.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this unexpected closure may cause,” Mayor Rodrick said. “The safety of our employees and residents is our top priority, and we appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we address this situation.”
