Toms River Township Delivers Thanksgiving Meals to Homebound Seniors

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Senior Center and Mayor Dan Rodrick’s office partnered on Tuesday to deliver Thanksgiving meals to homebound seniors in the community, spreading holiday cheer ahead of the holiday.

Volunteers and staff joined the effort to ensure that seniors unable to leave their homes across Toms River received warm meals in time for Thanksgiving. The initiative was part of the township’s ongoing commitment to supporting its senior residents.

“Thank you to all the volunteers and staff who helped deliver cheer to our local seniors in time for the holiday,” Mayor Rodrick said.

The meal deliveries are one of many programs organized by the senior center and local government to connect with and support older residents throughout the year.

The event highlighted the township’s dedication to fostering community connections and providing care to vulnerable populations during the holiday season.
