Hillcrest Heights, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department announced the arrest of two individuals following a fatal shooting inside a store on Thursday in Hillcrest Heights. The suspects, identified as 19-year-old Andres Rodriguez-Corona from Waldorf and 22-year-old Carl Sanders from Washington, DC, face charges related to the murder of 24-year-old Dominique Hodge, also from Washington, DC. Authorities are actively searching for a third suspect and have released a photograph, requesting public assistance in identifying him.

Officers responded to the incident at approximately 5:50 p.m., discovering the victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, deceased at the location inside a business on the 3700 block of Branch Avenue. Detectives confirmed that the victim was shopping alone, with no other customers or employees injured.

Following the shooting, a patrol officer from the Oxon Hill Division IV spotted three men matching suspect descriptions nearby; one, Rodriguez-Corona, was apprehended after a brief pursuit. A firearm was recovered from Rodriguez-Corona during his arrest.

Later, police arrested Sanders shortly after 11:25 p.m. following a traffic stop.
