Winning tickets sold through the Jackpocket app and at a Plainfield Quick Chek will each deliver a $224,728 payday
TRENTON, NJ – Two Jersey Cash 5 tickets hit every winning number in Tuesday night’s drawing, forcing the winners to split a $449,453 jackpot and leaving each ticket worth $224,728.
The winning numbers were 01, 15, 17, 29 and 30, according to the New Jersey Lottery. The Bullseye number was 30 and the XTRA was 03.
One of the jackpot-winning tickets was purchased through the Jackpocket app.
The other was sold at Quick Chek #196, located at 475 Terrill Road in Plainfield, Union County.
Each winning ticket is worth $224,728.
The retailers associated with the two jackpot tickets will each receive a $2,000 bonus.
Tuesday’s drawing also produced 30 tickets that matched four of the five numbers plus the Bullseye, earning prizes of $500 each.
Nine of those players had purchased the XTRA option, multiplying their winnings to $1,500 apiece.
Following the two-ticket jackpot hit, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was reset to $150,000 for Wednesday’s drawing.
