The first shooting unfolded at 6:11 a.m. on the 900 block of Ramona Avenue, where a 21-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene just 12 minutes later. At 6:33 a.m., officers responded to a second location on the 3900 block of Frankford Avenue, where another adult male was discovered on the highway with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital but died at 6:58 a.m.

Two fatal shootings within minutes, connection unclear

Both killings fall under investigation by the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit, which has not determined whether the incidents are connected.

The proximity in timing—just over 20 minutes apart—has drawn attention from investigators, but officials say there is currently no known motive in either case and no arrests have been made.

Police have not released the identities of the victims.

Separate overnight shooting leaves man wounded

Earlier that same morning, a third shooting left a 38-year-old man injured in the city’s 25th District.

According to police, the victim arrived at Temple University Hospital around 2:51 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his left foot after being dropped off in a private vehicle. He told officers he had been walking home from a bar near 6th and Courtland streets when a dark-colored vehicle carrying four الأشخاص approached.

One of the occupants exited the vehicle and shot him without provocation before fleeing the scene, the victim reported. His condition has not been publicly updated.
