Two Men Shot at Doyle Park in Yonkers, One Dead

YONKERS, N.Y. — A shooting at Doyle Park on Ashburton Avenue in Yonkers left one man dead and another injured on Sunday evening, according to the Yonkers Police Department. Officers responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 5 p.m. and found two adult males with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to local hospitals. One of the men was pronounced dead, while the other remains in stable condition, authorities said. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

Yonkers police detectives are currently investigating the incident. “This is an active investigation,” the department said in a statement. “More information may be released as it becomes available.”
