New York, NY – On Saturday, July 6, 2024, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a 42-year-old male was assaulted in Central Park near 67 West Drive. The victim was approached by two unidentified individuals who engaged him in a verbal dispute before slashing him multiple times with knives.

The suspects fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on West 66th Street. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the victim to Mount Sinai West Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
