Utica police seek owners of several stray dogs found across city over weekend

UTICA, N.Y. – The Utica Police Department is asking for the public’s help in reuniting several dogs with their owners after multiple strays were taken in over the weekend from various neighborhoods around the city.

According to a post from the department’s Facebook page, officers and animal control recovered the following dogs:
– A female brown Labrador mix found near Oneida Street and Jewett Place
– A male tan pit bull mix found near Hillcrest Manor Apartments
– Three border collies located on the 1800 block of Genesee Street
– A male brindle pit bull mix found on the 1100 block of Erie Street

Utica police seek owners of several stray dogs found across city over weekend

Police shared photos of the animals and encouraged anyone who recognizes the dogs or knows their owners to contact the department at 315-223-3461.

Officials said the animals are being safely held while attempts are made to locate their owners.

Utica police are asking residents to help identify several stray dogs found across the city, including Labradors, pit bulls, and border collies.
