NORTHWEST, DC – Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a destruction of property offense that occurred on October 7.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., officers from the First District responded to reports of property damage in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest. Surveillance footage captured the suspect pulling down a security camera, aiding detectives in their investigation.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or has information regarding the incident is urged to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text their tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of those responsible for crimes in the District of Columbia.
