Victim Critically Injured in Northeast D.C. Shooting

Washington, D.C. — Detectives are actively searching for a suspect involved in a shooting on Minnesota Avenue NE that left one man with life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 24, around 5:38 p.m. in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. Officers arriving at the scene found an adult male unconscious and not breathing. The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, who remains at large.
