STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — A violent group attack involving juveniles in Stafford County escalated into a robbery investigation after video footage allegedly showed suspects beating a juvenile victim and stealing a firearm, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. Five suspects — including an 18-year-old and four juveniles — now face charges tied to the May 7 assault near England Run.
Detectives said the case quickly widened after investigators reviewed camera footage and discovered firearms were involved. One suspect allegedly carried a gun during the incident, while another was later accused of filming the attack that authorities described as an “assault by mob.”
Detectives used video footage to identify suspects
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were alerted Friday, May 8, to the assault that occurred around 11 a.m. the previous day in the England Run area.
Investigators reviewed video footage that allegedly showed four suspects attacking a juvenile victim. According to detectives, the confrontation stemmed from an earlier incident involving the victim, though authorities have not publicly released additional details about that dispute.
Using the footage, detectives identified each suspect and learned firearms were connected to the robbery investigation.

Authorities later conducted a traffic stop and executed a search warrant that led them to three suspects inside a vehicle. Two juveniles were taken to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning with their parents present, while 18-year-old Jadin Sampson Johnson of Stafford was arrested on outstanding warrants.
A fourth juvenile suspect was later brought to investigators by a parent.
