MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A lucky TAKE 5 ticket sold in Manhattan turned into a winning payday after the May 14 midday drawing, according to the New York Lottery.
Officials said the winning ticket worth $9,355 was purchased at Zee Smoke & Convenience Inc., located at 246 East 14th Street.
TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a field of one through 39.
Lottery officials said players have up to one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
The New York Lottery said it remains the largest and most profitable lottery in North America and contributed $3.6 billion during fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools statewide.
