TEMPLE HILLS, Md. – A 39-year-old man from Landover has been taken into custody in Virginia following a fatal shooting outside a Temple Hills banquet hall that left three men dead early Saturday morning, Prince George’s County Police announced.
The suspect, identified as Antonio Lancaster, faces multiple charges including first- and second-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Ronez Proctor of Waldorf. Two additional victims, 33-year-old Pierre Davis and 26-year-old Kevon Medley Williams, both of Washington, D.C., were also killed during the incident. Investigators said Davis and Medley Williams exchanged gunfire, striking and fatally wounding each other.

Police responded around 2:10 a.m. on January 3 to the 4300 block of St. Barnabas Road, where officers found all three victims shot outside the banquet hall. The department’s Homicide Unit launched an extensive investigation involving witness interviews, surveillance footage review, and ballistic analysis.
Preliminary findings indicate Lancaster and Davis were both armed and standing in the parking lot when Lancaster opened fire on Proctor and Medley Williams. In the ensuing chaos, Medley Williams and Davis exchanged shots before collapsing. Lancaster fled the scene.
The PGPD Fugitive Unit, working with the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, located and arrested Lancaster in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Sunday. He remains in custody there pending extradition to Maryland.
Detectives believe the suspect and all three victims knew each other. A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
