Western District Police Report Drug Arrest in Gambrills

GAMBRILLS, MD – Anne Arundel County Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at Annapolis Road and California Terrace on Thursday at approximately 10:00 p.m. During their investigation, officers discovered one of the drivers had an active detainer for a probation violation.

The suspect, identified as Quantonio Derell Dunscomb, 44, from Annapolis, Maryland, was taken into custody. Upon search, police found approximately 36.38 grams of suspected crack cocaine. Additional controlled substances including a capsule containing suspected heroin and fentanyl, five Xanax bars, and a vial of suspect PCP were also discovered in the suspect’s possession.

Dunscomb faces multiple charges related to controlled dangerous substances (CDS). The Anne Arundel County Police Department has processed the arrest and is handling the ongoing investigation.
