JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A section of Whitesville Road closure is nearing its 30-day expected closure end, as extensive roadwork conducted by A to Z Contractors, township officials announced.

The closure, which will affect all traffic, may be extended or shortened depending on weather and other unforeseen factors.

The construction will render the roadway impassable due to significant excavation work. Residents and drivers are urged to follow newly established detour routes for accessing homes and nearby streets. Emergency and bus access will also adhere to the updated guidelines.

Access to Calendula Drive and Canon Boulevard will be limited to entry from East Veterans Highway, which also serves residences between 26 and 76 Whitesville Road. For residents on Canon Boulevard, access will be available via the existing road or through a temporary roadway under construction nearby, which will accommodate emergency vehicles.

Grawtown Road will remain accessible through either East Veterans Highway or South Hope Chapel Road, while Denton Lane will only be reachable from South Hope Chapel Road. Residences between 79 and 300 Whitesville Road will also need to utilize South Hope Chapel Road for access.

Drivers are advised to plan ahead and follow township updates as construction progresses.
