Wilkes-Barre Police Respond to Aggravated Assault on South Franklin Street

WILKES-BARRE, PA — The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department responded to a domestic dispute on South Franklin Street on Wednesday evening, leading to the arrest of Cindy Argones, 40, of Wilkes-Barre. The incident occurred at approximately 9:08 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a 27-year-old male victim from Plymouth, PA, who had sustained a stab wound to his hand. The investigation revealed that the defendant, Argones, had stabbed the victim during a verbal altercation. Argones was taken into custody at the scene, while the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
