Manhattan, NY – A fortunate ticket holder in Manhattan has hit the jackpot in the latest LOTTO drawing.

The New York Lottery announced that one jackpot-winning ticket was sold for the October 9 LOTTO drawing. The winning ticket, worth an astounding $16,300,000, was purchased at Flying Phoenix, located at 790 11th Ave in Manhattan.

In the LOTTO game, six winning numbers plus a bonus number are drawn from a field of one to 59. To win the LOTTO jackpot, players must match the first six numbers. Those who match five numbers plus the bonus number win the second prize. The LOTTO drawing is televised every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:15 p.m.
