DEFIANCE, OH – Michelle, a lucky lottery player from Defiance, is celebrating a $500,000 win after playing the Ohio Lottery’s Winter Fun scratch-off game.

Michelle purchased her winning $10 ticket at Meijer Gas #189, located at 1961 W Clinton Street in Defiance. Following mandatory state and federal tax withholdings of 28 percent, she will take home approximately $360,000.

Winter Fun, a $10 scratch-off game, offers a top prize of $500,000. As of December 10, two more top prizes remain unclaimed.

The Ohio Lottery, which has contributed over $32 billion to education since 1974, continues to provide a wide variety of scratch-off games and opportunities for players statewide.
