Woman hospitalized after street shooting

Baltimore, MD — A daytime shooting left a 68-year-old woman wounded on a busy Baltimore corridor, with detectives now working to determine what led to the gunfire.

The incident occurred around 1:43 p.m. April 30 in the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Responding officers located the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

She was transported to a local hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

No suspect information has been released as the Northwest District investigation remains ongoing.
