Woman Accosted on Queens Street in Broad Daylight

QUEENS, N.Y. — Authorities are searching for a man who groped a woman in broad daylight before fleeing on a two-wheeled vehicle in Queens, police said.

The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, in front of 41-47 77th Street. The 26-year-old victim was walking when an unidentified male approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect then fled northbound on 77th Street before turning left onto Roosevelt Avenue and continuing westbound.

The victim was not injured, police said.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a black helmet, black jacket, black pants, and black-and-white sneakers.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
