TOWSON, Md. — A woman is in critical condition after a stabbing Saturday morning in the parking lot of Towson Town Center, where police say a domestic dispute turned violent in broad daylight.

Officers from the Baltimore County Police Department’s Towson Precinct responded around 11 a.m. to 825 Dulaney Valley Road after reports of an assault. An MTA officer was first to arrive and detained the suspect, who complied with commands and was taken into custody without further incident.

The victim, an adult female, suffered multiple upper-body wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical condition. Investigators confirmed the attack was domestic-related, emphasizing that it was not a random act and that no additional suspects are being sought.

The Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation as police continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.

A quiet Saturday shopping trip ended in chaos as emergency crews worked swiftly to save the victim’s life outside one of Towson’s busiest malls.
