Woman Fatally Shot in Accokeek Home, Investigation Underway

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD — A woman was shot and killed inside an Accokeek home early Tuesday morning, prompting an active investigation by Prince George’s County Police.

Officers responded to the 15700 block of Livingston Road around 12:15 a.m. on February 5 following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman inside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of 2 a.m., investigators were working to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting. No details regarding potential suspects or motives have been released.
