Woman in Bikini Threw Rock At Child Police Report

FALMOUTH, VA – A disturbing incident unfolded at the Historic Port of Falmouth when a woman, reportedly intoxicated, assaulted a child by throwing a rock. The assault occurred on Saturday at approximately 6:50 p.m. at 401 River Road.

Deputy K.W. Suter responded to the scene following reports from multiple callers about a female in a red bikini who targeted a child unknown to her. Upon arrival, Deputy Suter engaged with the woman and confirmed her intoxicated state. The young victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.

The suspect was arrested and transported to Rappahannock Regional Jail, facing charges of assault and battery as well as public intoxication.

She is currently being held without bond as the investigation continues.
