Police are searching for an unidentified gunman after a 27-year-old woman was shot inside a building on Avenue D in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of a 27-year-old woman early Saturday morning in Brooklyn.
According to the department, the shooting occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. inside 8920 Avenue D. During the incident, an unidentified individual discharged a firearm, striking the woman in her right leg.
Investigation continues
Police have not released a description of the suspect or disclosed what may have led to the shooting. The victim’s condition has also not been released.
