Woodbridge Man Arrested Following Domestic Strangulation Incident

WOODBRIDGE, VA – A domestic dispute escalated into violence, leading to the arrest of a local man on charges of strangulation and assault. The incident occurred on May 22 at around 4:46 PM in a residence on the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave.

During the altercation, 26-year-old Spencer Andre Robinson, an acquaintance of the victim, reportedly engaged in a verbal argument with a 28-year-old woman which turned physical. Robinson is accused of striking the woman, then grabbing her neck and restricting her ability to use her phone to seek help. The victim managed to escape the situation and immediately reported the incident to the police upon running out of the home.

Robinson was arrested following the victim’s report, which noted minor injuries. He is currently facing charges related to the domestic violence incident. The case underscores the seriousness with which local authorities treat domestic disputes and acts of violence.
