NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The North Tonawanda Police Department reported that officers found a yellow Labrador Retriever on Wurlitzer Drive. The discovery was made earlier today, according to a brief statement shared on social media by the department.

The police are seeking the dog’s owner or anyone with information that might help identify them. Residents are urged to contact the department at 716-692-4111, selecting option 0 for immediate assistance.

No further details were provided regarding the circumstances under which the dog was found or whether the animal appeared to be in distress. The department described the dog as “friendly” in their statement.
