PATERSON, NJ – At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 130 Godwin Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey in response to a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located the victim, Robert Cuadra, 18-years-old from Paterson, lying on the sidewalk in front of that address with an apparent gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived and transported Mr. Cuadra to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
