WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that took place on June 28 in the 2600 block of Bowen Road, Southeast.
At approximately 7:05 p.m., two suspects approached a victim, demanded property, and one suspect brandished a gun. The suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle driven by additional accomplices.
Following an investigation, Mekhi Mimiko of Northeast D.C. was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Armed Robbery (Gun). Authorities continue to investigate the case and urge anyone with information to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text the tip line at 50411.
