The winning ticket was purchased at Tamaqua Mart LLC, located at 401 West Broad St. in Tamaqua Borough.

The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the top-prize-winning ticket.

Jackpot is a $20 scratch-off game that offers top prizes of $1 million.

Lottery officials reminded players to immediately sign the back of winning tickets and contact the Pennsylvania Lottery to begin the prize claim process.

Scratch-off tickets are distributed randomly, meaning neither the Pennsylvania Lottery nor retailers know where winning tickets will be sold until a prize has been claimed.

Lottery prizes exceeding $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding.
