Boston Man Charged for NYC LGBTQ Hate Crime

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department’s Hate Crime Task Force has made several arrests in an ongoing investigation related to a series of hate crimes.

The incidents involve the destruction of transgender and LGBTQIA+ flags at the Stonewall National Monument in Christopher Park.

Three individuals have been arrested and charged with Hate Crime/Criminal Mischief and Criminal Mischief.

The most recent arrest was made on Wednesday, involving a 25-year-old male from Boston, MA.

The investigation is still ongoing, and additional incidents are being looked into. The NYPD is asking anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
