BENSALEM, Pa. — A fireworks dispute escalated into gunfire Wednesday night at The Commons Apartment Complex, where a woman allegedly fired a shot during a fight involving residents from two apartments, according to Bensalem Police.
Officers responded to multiple reports of an armed subject and shots fired at 1900 Park Avenue at approximately 9:43 p.m. Upon arrival, police determined that a confrontation between residents had broken out following fireworks being set off by one of the parties involved.
During the altercation, police say 30-year-old Tiara Blackston, a resident of the complex, pulled a 9mm Taurus handgun from her pocket and fired one round at another individual. The victim was not struck by the bullet.
Police recovered the firearm at the scene and took Blackston into custody without further incident. No additional injuries were reported.

Blackston held on $250,000 bail after arraignment
Blackston was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment of another person, possessing an instrument of crime, and harassment. She was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Lisa J. Gaier, who set her bail at 10% of $250,000.
Blackston was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility following arraignment.
