22 Alleged Bloods Gang Members Indicted in Queens After Investigation Into 11 Shootings

Prosecutors say members of the Blitz Gang 4 street gang carried out a series of shootings and a stabbing across Southeast Queens that left multiple victims injured, including one man who was paralyzed.

Queens, NY – Twenty-two alleged members and associates of the Blitz Gang 4 street gang have been indicted on charges including attempted murder, conspiracy, gang assault, and criminal possession of a weapon following a long-term investigation into a string of violent crimes across Southeast Queens, the Queens District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

The 97-count indictment alleges the defendants were responsible for 11 shootings and one stabbing between 2023 and 2026 that left three people wounded, including one victim who was permanently paralyzed. Nine defendants have already been arraigned, while two remain in custody on unrelated matters awaiting arraignment and three others remain at large.

Prosecutors allege ongoing gang war

According to prosecutors, the defendants are alleged members or associates of Blitz Gang 4 (BG4), a subset of the Bloods based in the Baisley Park Houses in South Jamaica. Investigators said the gang has been engaged in a violent feud with rival groups, including the Floss Money Ballers, Money World, Bad-Co, and the Crips-affiliated 5th Clocc.

District Attorney Melinda Katz said the indictment follows a lengthy investigation conducted alongside the New York City Police Department.

“The streets of Queens will be safer this summer thanks to the hard work of prosecutors in my Violent Criminal Enterprises Bureau and our NYPD partners,” Katz said. “As alleged, the wanton violence between members of Blitz Gang 4 and Floss Money Ballers has terrorized Southeast Queens communities for the past two years, putting countless innocent residents at risk.”

Governor Kathy Hochul praised investigators, saying, “Every New Yorker deserves to feel safe. That is why I’ve made historic investments in public safety to ensure our police departments and District Attorneys have the resources they need to keep dangerous criminals off our streets.”

Investigation links defendants to multiple shootings

Prosecutors allege the defendants routinely entered rival gang territory to target perceived rivals in what investigators described as “spinning” or conducting “drills.” Authorities also allege gang members used rap videos posted on Instagram to communicate threats and promote violent activity.

The indictment details a series of incidents beginning in September 2023, including shootings in Hollis, Rosedale, Cambria Heights, St. Albans, Rochdale, and South Jamaica. Among the allegations is the July 2025 shooting of a rival gang member inside a South Jamaica home, leaving the victim paralyzed, as well as a December 2025 stabbing outside the Queens Criminal Courthouse.

The charges stem from a joint investigation by the Queens District Attorney’s Violent Criminal Enterprises Bureau and the NYPD’s Gun Violence Suppression Division.

The defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
