$50 Billion Scratch-Off delivers five-figure win for Pepper Pike woman

PEPPER PIKE, OH — A stop for a lottery ticket turned into a $50,000 payday for Pepper Pike resident Michelle after a $50 Billion Scratch-Off purchased at a Woodmere gas station delivered the five-figure prize.

The Ohio Lottery announced the win Monday.

Michelle purchased the winning ticket at Gastown #3321, located at 27939 Chagrin Blvd. in Woodmere.

Her ticket carried a $50,000 prize.

According to the Ohio Lottery, Michelle will receive $26,625 after mandatory state and federal tax withholdings.

The $50 Billion Scratch-Off offers a top prize of $1 million a year for life.

As of Monday, two of those top prizes remained available, according to the Lottery.

The game also had 43 second-tier prizes worth $50,000 a year for 20 years still available.

Overall odds of winning any prize are listed at 1 in 4.10.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $35 billion to education since 1974.
