GLOVERSVILLE, NY — A third-prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold for the July 23 drawing at the Walmart Supercenter located at 329 S. Kingsboro Avenue Extension, New York Lottery officials announced.
Powerball players must match five numbers drawn from a field of 1 to 69, plus the red Power Ball drawn from a separate field of 1 to 26, to win the jackpot. Matching five numbers without the Power Ball earns a third-place prize.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. The New York Lottery contributed $3.8 billion to support public education in fiscal year 2023-2024.
