WASHINGTON, DC—A fatal shooting incident in Southeast claimed the life of an 18-year-old male and left two others injured, according to the D.C. Metro Police Department. Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
The incident occurred on Friday at 6:01 p.m. in the 1600 block of W Street, Southeast. Upon arrival, officers discovered three adults with gunshot wounds. All victims were promptly transported to local hospitals.
Keith White of Southeast D.C. succumbed to his injuries, the other two—a male and a female—received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
