New Jersey Announces Civil Service Exam for Entry Level Firefighters

TRENTON, NJ – The state has announced the availability of the 2024 New Jersey Civil Service Entry Level Firefighter Exam application. The deadline for submitting applications is September 3.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements detailed on the Civil Service website. All applications must be submitted through this site, requiring the creation of a user account with a stable email address.

For assistance with the application process, customer care and technical support are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and emergency closings.
