Brick Township Man Arrested for DWI with Drugs Released with Summons After Crash

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – A motor vehicle accident on Route 34 led to the arrest of 36-year-old Michael McGlynn from Brick Township.

Wall Township Police Patrolman Tyler Martin responded to the scene of the single-car crash, where subsequent investigations revealed that McGlynn was driving while intoxicated.

Further investigation also found McGlynn in possession of multiple controlled substances, including heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, and valium. Despite the severity of the allegations, McGlynn was processed and released on a summons, following the procedures outlined in John’s Law, which involves the impoundment of vehicles operated by drivers under the influence.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding impaired driving and drug possession within the community.
