Deadly Shooting in the Bronx Under Investigation

BRONX, NY — Early on Thursday morning, at approximately 1:12 AM, police were called to the scene of an assault at 1310 Sheridan Avenue in the Bronx, within the 44th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers found 27-year-old Muhamadou Gumaneh with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

Emergency Medical Services transported Gumaneh to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead. Currently, there have been no arrests, and the investigation into the shooting continues.
