$50,000 Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Md. — A lucky player in Aberdeen is celebrating after winning the $50,000 top prize in last night’s Bonus Match 5 drawing. The winning ticket, sold at Klein’s Shop Rite located at 949 Beards Hill Road, marks the 22nd top-prize winner for the game this year.

The winning numbers for the Thursday, August 15 drawing were 6, 7, 11, 12, and 19, with a Bonus Ball of 16. Lottery officials are advising the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a secure location. The winner has 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.

Klein’s Shop Rite will also receive a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are reminded to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and to keep them in a safe place. The deadline to claim a draw game prize is 182 days after the drawing.
