TURTLE CREEK, Pa. — An argument over a parking space in Turtle Creek escalated into a stabbing and gunfire on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Allegheny County Police Department. The incident occurred on the 200 block of Seneca Street, leading to the hospitalization of one man.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 call at 4:13 p.m., where they found an adult male who had been stabbed during a physical altercation. The man, a resident of the street, was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition, authorities said.
The dispute reportedly involved contractors working across the street, and the argument over parking turned violent. In addition to the stabbing, shots were fired at the contractors as they left the scene. No injuries were reported from the gunfire.
The contractors involved in the incident went to the Turtle Creek Police Station and are cooperating with the investigation, according to a statement from the Allegheny County Police Department.
Detectives from the county’s Homicide Unit are leading the investigation. Further details have not been released at this time.
