Presidential impersonator a huge hit at jackson day

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Jackson Day 2024 was the best Jackson Day ever. Many have tried and failed to make a better Jackson Day, but thanks to a visit from Bob DiBuono, a well-known presidential impersonator.

Bob DiBuoono, a comedian, drew positive attention as he met with local business owners and organizations performing his #45 schtick.

He was a guest of the Jackson Republican Club, the town’s official Republican organization, but he made his rounds and spread smiles and laughter throughout the fairgrounds.

DiBuono, who has been featured on multiple major TV stations and national newspapers, is expected to perform at the event throughout the day and take pictures with fans and supporters.

One of DiBuono’s more memorable performances on the day was a pitch for the local Republican candidates for office, Nino Borrelli, Mordy Burnstein, and Giuseppe Palmeri.

Besides creating comedic videos about Jackson and local Jackson businesses, DiBuono spent time with many of the local vendors at the event, bringing smiles to most.

In the afternoon, the day took a somber turn after word began to spread about a real assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at the Trump International Golf Course in Florida. Secret Service agents and local police later apprehended a man who snuck into the grounds with a GoPro camera and an AK-47, waiting in ambush to assassinate the president on the golf course.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the former President,” said Burnstein, who has endorsed Trump in this year’s election. “We are glad law enforcement once again stepped up and that they quickly captured the would-be assassin. That’s why we have to continue supporting law enforcement locally and throughout the country, they are our first line of defense against the increase in senseless violence. We have to continue supporting President Trump and Republicans up and down the ticket across New Jersey, but most importantly, Column L here in Jackson.”
