September 27, 2024

BRONX, N.Y. — Two unidentified men posing as repair workers forced their way into a Bronx apartment on Friday, September 20, 2024, and robbed a man at knifepoint, police said.

The incident occurred at around 1:00 p.m. in an apartment near Courtlandt Avenue and East 150th Street. According to authorities, the 43-year-old male victim allowed the men inside, believing they had been dispatched to fix a leak. Once inside, the suspects brandished knives, with one holding a knife to the victim’s throat while the other bound his hands with duct tape.

The victim sustained minor bruising to his neck but declined medical treatment, police said. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
