BALTIMORE – A 28-year-old man was arrested on multiple handgun violations in Baltimore’s Eastern District on Thursday evening, police said.
Officers from the Eastern District Action Team were conducting an investigation in the 4300 block of Belair Road around 8:34 p.m. when the suspect fled on foot. After a brief pursuit, police apprehended the man and recovered a loaded handgun.
The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with several handgun-related offenses, including possession of a rapid-fire trigger activator, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
