Bank Robbery Under Investigation in Wilmington

Wilmington, DE The Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place on Monday at the Fulton Bank in Wilmington.

On Monday, at approximately 1:38 p.m., officers responded to the bank on 800 Foulk Road following a robbery report. Investigation revealed a black male suspect entered, handed a demand note to an employee, received cash, and fled towards Wilson Road.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6’0”-6’1” tall with a thin build, wearing dark clothes. Surveillance footage has not yet been released.

The Troop 2 Robbery Unit is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information to contact Detective J. Dempsey at (302) 365-8472. Anonymous tips can also be sent via Facebook or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
